The perfect simple green salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 Head of butter lettuce or 4 little gems, leaves separated 

  • 1 Cup foraged greens, including wild sorel & glacier lily greens, or edible flowers

  • 1/4 Cup good apple cider vinegar 

  • 1/4 extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 Teaspoon honey 

  • 2 Teaspoons walnut oil

  • Pinch of flaky sea salt 

  • Pinch of fresh pepper

  • 1/2 Cup toasted and buttered sourdough breadcrumbs 

Directions:

  • Wash and dry all your greens. 

  • In a mason jar, mix together all the dressing ingredients and shake until fully emulsified. 

  • Toss the salad with a light coating of salad dressing. 

  • Top with breadcrumbs and fresh herbs, then serve immediately.
